We expect the suppliers to continuously improve their performance to provide safe workplaces, respect fundamental rights, enable environmental resilience and operate with high standard of business transparency and ethics. Our team also participates in trainings within the scope of continuous improvement.

At GALYA, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We promote ethical practices, fair wages, and eco-friendly production methods, striving to minimize our environmental footprint while performing in disciplinary ambience.

GALYA respects Social Responsibility and Circular Economy based on United Nations Goals, which are: Human Rights and Fair Labour Practices:

  • GALYA shall respect and promote the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ensuring that all workers are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Child labour shall not be used at any stage of the supply chain. Workers should be of legal working age, as defined by national laws.
  • Forced labour, including debt bondage and human trafficking, shall not be tolerated.
  • Workers shall have the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining, in accordance with local laws.
  • Fair wages shall be provided, meeting or exceeding legal minimum requirements, and ensuring that workers' basic needs are met.
  • Working hours should be reasonable, complying with local laws, and ensuring that workers have sufficient rest periods.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibility:

  • GALYA shall provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Adequate measures shall be taken to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
  • Workers shall have access to clean drinking water, sanitary facilities, and appropriate accommodations where necessary.
  • GALYA shall minimize its environmental impact by promoting sustainable practices, including adopting circular economy principles, reducing waste, conserving energy, and using eco-friendly materials.
  • Hazardous substances and chemicals shall be handled and disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and international standards.

Ethical Sourcing and Supply Chain Responsibility:

  • GALYA shall source materials and products from suppliers who demonstrate responsible and ethical practices, including adherence to circular economy principles.
  • Suppliers shall be selected based on their commitment to human rights, fair labour practices, and environmental sustainability.
  • Regular audits and assessments shall be conducted to ensure compliance with the code of conduct throughout the supply chain.
  • GALYA shall encourage transparency and traceability, providing information about the origins of materials and production processes, as well as promoting sustainable sourcing practices.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders shall be fostered to continuously improve social, environmental, and circular economy performance.

Gender Equality and Diversity:

  • GALYA shall promote gender equality and diversity within its workforce and supply chain, fostering an inclusive environment free from discrimination.
  • Equal opportunities for employment, training, and career advancement shall be provided, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
  • Harassment, including sexual harassment, shall not be tolerated in any form, and appropriate measures shall be taken to address such incidents.

Community Engagement and Social Investment:
